With the Nexia series, they added the Front Focus Feature in all devices with technology level 9. This feature improves speech understanding by allowing the hearing aid to focus on the person in front of you by an additional 4 decibels. Studies show that 1 decibel can improve speech understanding by 10% in noisy environments. 4 extra decibels can therefore improve 1-on-1 conversations by over 40%! In addition, Nexia hearing aids feature Auracast Bluetooth.
Equipped with four built-in microphones, NEXIA effortlessly analyzes and manages background noise, even in the most challenging acoustic environments. For those with one-sided deafness, a rechargeable CROS version is available with approximately 16 hours of battery life.
The only drawback we would add is that ReSound may offer fewer personalization options with the app compared to other brands. And with the 7 or 5 models, you don't have the Front Focus Feature, but the Ultra Focus Feature that focuses more on a 360-degree listening experience.
In addition, the ReSound Nexia MicroRIE 9 is also a very useful gadget. It features a "Find My Hearing Aid" function and also supports standard Bluetooth streaming for both iPhone and Android devices. iPhone users can effortlessly make hands-free calls, while Android users enjoy seamless audio streaming via the ASHA protocol.
