What is LE Audio Bluetooth?

With the latest LE Audio Bluetooth technology, you'll experience a whole new world of connectivity. This technology, also known as LC3 Codec, provides a better experience than traditional Bluetooth connections, even better than that of a standard Apple iPhone. It improves sound quality via Bluetooth connectivity which also reduces battery consumption. If your Android phone does not support LE Bluetooth, then this connection goes through the ASHA protocol. It is a slightly thicker model than what we are used to from Oticon. It is still fine to wear with glasses. But for people who do not have much space behind their ears (the ears are close to the skull) then it might be a consideration to pick another model. A comparable hearing aid to the Oticon Intent 2 miniRITE-R is the Phonak Audéo Lumity L90-R.

Another important point to include in your consideration is that the microphones that are on the outside of the device, leave just enough room for one external push button on the devices. As a result, the volume can be turned down via the push button on the left device, and up via the push button on the right device. This may take some getting used to.
