ReSound Nexia MicroRIE CROS
ReSound is in general an excellent "all-round" hearing aid brand which focuses primarily on focused hearing. With the Nexia series, they added the very first rechargeable CROS-device made by ReSound. A CROS hearing aid helps people with one-sided deafness by sending the sound from the non-hearing ear to the other ear that has a normal hearing aid. This creates a 360 degree sound experience. We advise to combine the Nexia MicroRIE CROS with the Nexia MicroRIE 9 because they both look the same. The level 9 version also has the Front Focus Feature which improves speech understanding by allowing the hearing aid to focus on the person in front of you by an additional 4 decibels.
