What does the warranty at Online-HearingAids.com cover?

Hearing aids

All hearing aids in our range come with a standard 2-year factory warranty and sales warranty from the day of purchase. All hearing aids have a first-year worldwide warranty. If you discover a defect in your hearing aid within the warranty period, it will be repaired free of charge. During a repair, it will be investigated whether this is part of normal use or whether the defect is caused by improper handling.

Accessories

All accessories and chargers have a standard 2-year manufacturer's warranty. For hearing aid speakers, there is a 1-year warranty offered by the seller.
In addition to the factory warranty, the legal warranty also applies. The legal warranty means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it.
The manufacturer's warranty and any additional warranty purchased do not affect the statutory warranty.

Warranty extension

You can extend the warranty of your hearing aid. When ordering your hearing aids, you can opt for an additional 2 - 5 year warranty. The additional warranty costs 99 euros per hearing aid or 199 euros per hearing aid outside the EU. This means that, in addition to the 2-year standard warranty, you are insured against defects for 3 years longer. For both the factory warranty and the purchase warranty. What counts as a warranty certificate?

The proof of purchase is valid as proof of warranty! This also applies to the 2 - 5 year warranty service of Online-HearingAids.com. The warranty is calculated from the day of purchase on the invoice. You can find the relevant invoice in your personal account. Log in to view the invoice.

Return period for a defective hearing aid

The return period for a hearing aid is 60 days. For accessories and parts this is 14 days after receipt. If you have a defective product within the return period, please contact our customer service as soon as possible. What are the costs of a repair?

The cost of the repair is free if it falls within the warranty period. Unless there is a case of improper use, then there are costs associated with the repair.

Is the repair of your hearing aid outside the warranty period? Then the fixed price is €145,- per device per repair (excl. shipping costs and possible customs clearance costs). The same applies here; if the device is defective due to improper use, then this will involve higher costs. Hearing aids can be repaired up to 5 years after purchase.

How do I report a defective product?

You can report to our customer service that your product is defective or has defects. In the case of a hearing aid, there may also be something else wrong. For example, it often happens that the filter is clogged by earwax, that the speaker is defective or that there is moisture in the hearing aid. We therefore always ask you to first go through our checklist in the event of a defective hearing aid before you report a defect.
