- Check if Bluetooth® is enabled on your iOS device. Within the Settings menu, go to Bluetooth and set the option to On.
- Find the Settings icon on your iOS device and tap it.
- Within the Settings menu, go to General & gt; Accessibility & gt; MFi Hearing Aids.
- Open and close the battery door of your hearing aids when the iOS device searches for the hearing aids. If you have a rechargeable hearing aid, put the hearing aid in the charger and take it out again: The hearing aids will now enter “pairing mode”. This way, the hearing aids can be paired.
- When the iOS device recognizes the hearing aids, you will see the name of your hearing aid (eg ‘Paul Hearing aids’) on the screen. When asked to pair the hearing aid, agree.
- If your name does not appear in the ‘Devices’ list within 5-7 seconds: tap Accessibility in the top left corner, then tap MFi Hearing Aids.
- Find and tap the Settings icon on your phone.
- Select Bluetooth®.
- If Bluetooth appears to be off in this screen, change the setting to On. Then open and close the battery drawer of your hearing aids (this makes it possible to pair the hearing aids)
- Under Paired devices you will see your first name followed by hearing aid (eg Michelle Hearing Aid), as soon as the device recognizes your hearing aids. If your name doesn’t appear in the ‘Devices’ list within 5-7 seconds, tap Accessibility in the top left corner, then tap Hearing Aids.
- Tap the hearing aid name to pair the hearing aid with your device.
- The devices are now paired.
- Go to the App Store (Iphone) or to the Play Store (Android).
- Select Search, in the search bar, type Starkey Thrive.
- Press the download button to install the app.
- Once the app is installed, open the Starkey Thrive ™ Hearing Control app from your home screen.
