The warranty on Starkey hearing aids is 2 years. Within this period, repair costs are covered, and there are no charges associated with the repair, unless the device has been misused.
If desired, you can extend the warranty to 5 years. In case of a defect, you can visit a local audiologist for repairs. We will reimburse the repair costs and any service fees after consultation and providing a quote.
If you do not have a warranty, what are the costs for a repair?
For hearing aids that are less than 5 years old, we will provide a customized quote specifying the repair costs. Typically, these costs amount to €145 per repair, excluding shipping and customs clearance fees. However, it is important to note that if the device has been damaged due to improper use, higher costs may apply. If your hearing aid is older, we kindly request you to contact us by phone for a customized quote.
At Online-Hearingaids.com, we offer the option to purchase an additional 3-year warranty for €199. With this extended warranty, the costs are lower than a repair!
What is covered under the warranty?
The warranty covers all defects in the hearing aid itself (excluding accessories). These defects will be repaired free of charge. In case of a defect, please contact us. If we are unable to resolve the issue remotely, we recommend visiting a local audiologist. We ask you to obtain a quote for the repair costs and submit it to us. We will discuss and reimburse the costs accordingly.
Why not send the hearing aids for repair?
Shipping hearing aids from outside the EU and vice versa involves expensive customs clearance procedures, making it a costly and long-term process. The best solution is to have your hearing aids repaired locally.
Please note that the warranty is valid from the original purchase date of the hearing aids.
