• The CROS P is developed for people with one deaf ear where amplifying the sound on that side makes no sense.
• A microphone is placed behind the deaf ear. This sends the sound to the better ear to create better understanding in noise.
• With this CROS model from Phonak they use their groundbreaking StereoZoom function. This is a microphone function where both sides work together to determine where the noise and where the speech is coming from. By cleverly aiming the microphone at the speech, understanding improves considerably.
• An earhook or thintube can be made on this model, so that the hearing aid does not fall off your ear as quickly.
